One of the few brick and mortar shops left with a tremendous inventory and customer service. It's where it all started for me.

I have not had any transactions with them, but SEO (who have an advertising banner on the Café) have many interesting things. So does Viking magic.

Regarding Elmwood Magic... as of May of last year they either merged with or were purchased by Penguin

I have read your posts so I know this is not what you want to hear, but...
...instead of browsing online magic sellers for the latest tricks to edify your curiosity, how about investing in a few good books and take the time you would waste browsing to actually learn something? And, take some time to improve your spelling, punctuation and grammar.

Thank you for the recommendation to learn things instead of browsing the newest things online but as I can see you have quite a few hundred posts on an online site called the café and you might want to go learn something instead of bashing on young magicians on a resource site! As for my grammar I apologize for the grammar issues. I was crunched on time to post the thread! Thanks for everyone's else constructive answers to my questions! |

There is nothing wrong with browsing the websites of online magic shops. When I was a kid, I would sit and plow through what few magic catalogs I had. I would re-read the same catalogs dozens of times. Come to think of it, when I lay my hands on one of those catalogs (I still have all those I had as a kid, plus a ton more) I still do the same.
Josh, if you can get your hands on a couple magic magazines, you'll find many ads from dealers, many with websites. Work for all your money and your wallet plus common sense will be your guide when you decide to go shopping. In the meantime, enjoy the fun fantasizing about all the cool stuff out there!

This guy is 15 or 16 years old! Geez, remember when you were his age? I do. Apparently he has enough chops to win a magic award, but he is still a kid and a beginner magician. There aren't any magic shops like there used to be for youg guys like him to go into and find the latest thing or some prop that they have to get to satisfy their curiosity and get ripped off... so instead of that they go to online stores and shop and wast^H^H^H er, ah, /spend/ their hard earned cash and get ripped off. Its no different than the old magic catalogs... send off for some prop or trick wait a few weeks for it to arrive, only to find that you got ripped off... There is nothing wrong with the process of buying junk and being ripped off... it is part of the learning process of becoming a magician! Let him have his fun for pity's sake!
