Free bonus?
So far, I have not been able to get the video to play. It refuses to download. I tried well over a dozen times. I'm about to give it one more try.

Daffydoug,
We just posted a bonus video from Rick Lax. He teaches a creative bonus trick using the anti-gravity method. It's already in your MyPenguinMagic library. |

Ughhhh. I missed the promo!
It says Introductory Price good until midnight. Is the $9.95 the introductory price? Bonus from Rick Lax? That has to be good. Rick adds a lot to "simple" magic! I love his thinking and teaching style. liek sitting with a friend and talking magic. great guy! I have to say, I relly enjoy efffects like this that are less than $10 and use older principals or improved methods, etc. Great to see something like this redone or more like re-introduced. Kind of like sponge bunnies... they will alsways be a classic and entertain at least one person in a room if not more! |

Same here. I really wanna like this....looks really direct, simple, fair. How clean can one end on this after the bill has hit the floor? Does the suspension have to be timed in order to hit the post on the drop just right? In the trailer it almost looks as if a short breeze hits the bill, but the bill stays on the edge even tho it looks like it sorta wants to be carried off with the wind, reason I bring it up is how doable it this if you are outside and there is gust of wind hits it, are you limited in the sense at all?
Posting ever so slightly.

After playing with this, doubt I'll really ever use except maybe in a bar once in a blue moon. It's rather underwhelming and rather obvious, but maybe others got better reaction. And usually I think Rick's videos make any purchase worthwhile, but this one didn't add much for me. Outside a gust of wind could ruin the trick, yes you can end clean. Was ok for the cool box price, maybe even a bit high but wouldn't buy this at full price.

I bought it for those occasions when I just want something quick. fast and impromptu Somthing off the cuff with minimum hassle. It fits the bill for those conditions
I think Nate's extra handling tips make it worth the cool box price.

You can use the same principle for lots of things. Lots of PK applications.

I watched the trailer and my first though was that it looked like there was some kind of sticky material used to put the bill to the edge of the table.
Can you perform this somehow to cancel that suspicion?

I think Nathan does an excellent job of showing his handling on the video and that can help assuage any skepticism on the part of the spectator. But it still left me a bit dissatisfied vis-a-vis the nagging suspicion that may linger in spite of the fact that you show clean at the end. So I came up with a different handling that exploits the gimmick by redirecting their attention to a different premise and an extra fake prop (fake in the sense that even though the prop is real and does what you say it does its properties are completely unnecessary to perform the effect even though you say they are). This handling helps to cancel that suspicion while imbuing you with a pretty neat power (in their minds). I can't really say more here but if you are interested in my handling PM me and I will lay it out for you. Preston |
