I am interested in finding information about Adolfo Cerceda, the Argentinian magician who performed under the name Carlos Corda. I would especially like to know if there are any reviews of his magic act in the magic journals or videos of his act, which apparently included exhibition card fans and dove magic--or video also of him talking about origami, which was one of his interests besides magic.

This is what I've been able to dig up Sonny:

In the 1970, Supreme Magic marketed Carlos Corda'a Silk Supreme, silk production. It have been copied by Vito Lupo who marketed a larger version he sold at his lectures, and more recently by the late John Blake.

I asked about Cerceda/Corda because, based on the photo that Bill posted--which is identical to the one in part of he collage I link to here--apparently Señor Corda did an act of exhibition card fans and doves
https://www.facebook.com/338764602812514......&theater In his book _Secrets of Origami_, Robert Harbin included some of Cerceda's origami figures such as the peacock I included in the above linked jpeg. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51......200_.jpg I have emailed some magicians in Argentina in hopes of finding out more information about Cerceda/Corda's magic act. Origami seems to be a popular hobby with magicians like Harbin, Houdini, and Gene Anderson--and of course myself. Shari Lewis has also written books about making figures out of paper. ----- Sonny

I looked him up in a recent issue of Magicol devoted to the magic of Argentina, but no luck.

Things are getting interesting Sonny. I just discovered that Corda's daughter is a Spanish pop star named Geraldine Larrosa:
