I'm working on a gimmick trick called "it's done with mirrors". It's where four of a kind keep showing their backs. The part where you turn the regular cards to mirrors is kinda baffling to me though. You just go from showing the subject the cards' faces and then all of a sudden reveal mirrored backs by turning the visible faces over to reveal the mirrors and do a flustration count. It seems kind of bleh to me, just wondering if I can get any advice on it?
You think that trick was good? you should see what i can do with my...............

Sup man? This might be better suited in the card section. PM me if I can be of help. And welcome to the boards, glad to finally see you on here.

Tetkom4,
Why use a gimmick? It's just a basic "twisting the aces" move with mirrored backs on the face-up cards. (Same stuff as I use for the surprise ending in my marketed Mirror Monte.) |

You need to set it up with a line of talk about how people say magic is "all done with mirrors" and then either (1) say you personally would never stoop to such underhanded methods or (2) say it's totally true, even with card tricks where nobody would suspect a mirror.
