Slim, why don't you answer my question? How many children use pools or tubs to accidentally kill other people?
Hint: NONE Now- How many children have accidentally used guns to kill other people? See the difference? |

NOPE ... I'm talking about REAL DEATHS ... Not hypothetical smoke screens ... More kids accidentally die in the tub than are accidentally shot .... Basic logic!!!!
You want to cut down on kids dying ... educate the parents... Simple .. The anti-gun agenda is obvious .... You aren't really concerned about saving kids lives. It's BS! If you REALLY were concerned with saving kids lives there are dozens of other things that would do it .... Shameful....

The funny thing is, many of the differences actually cut IN FAVOR of the pro-government argument. You don't have a constitutional right to a bathtub. You can't use a bathtub in self-defense...

Or are you saying that if someone attacks you, you can't clobber them with a bathtub? As a practical matter you probably can't, but if you were able to, I strongly suspect that the law allows you to. (Unless, of course, it's an automatic bathtub . . . .) |

Exactly. But the point is obvious, so it's not surprising that Slim missed it.

Danger is everywhere.
People always said marijuana never killed anyone till that dude got crushed to death by the load he was smuggling in Mexico. |

Some people are more concerned with the actual result than the intended result.

Don’t mix the red tablets with the green tablets. 2) why not introduce into church preaching, just how to do every day things and do them responsibility. (see eg above)

People have become complacent to how dangerous the world actually is. Over here we call it the Insha'Allah Factor.

People believe that it won't happen to them. It's not about being afraid but rather about being aware. How many people die each year from driving and texting? Dying because you weren't paying attention is not the way you should want to go out. The Insha'Allah Factor believes that everything is Gods will. So they can dismiss personal responsibility and run out into the metaphorical traffic with their eyes closed.

I can't say how the folks where you are use the phrase Insha'Allah, but the way my grandparents used it, it simply meant "God willing." As in, "I'll see you next week, Insha'Allah." I always thought it was a redundant phrase, but then, I was not a believer. Looking back, it was never a way to avoid responsibility, but a way to acknowledge that God was present always.

Not over here. They drive without seatbelts, no child car seats (I see drivers holding babies all the time), all at breakneck speeds. Even the polilce text while driving.
