If I remember correctly, I think Tomas Medina had a ball appearing under a shot glass w/ a torn napkin routine. Not a chop cup but the routine was nice and relied on good misdirection. Tomas is also awesome, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his Penguin Live Lecture anyways.

My youngest som found a track from Labor Fiedler that uses 2 translucent cups. I'm going to try to figure away
to use them. Hopefully you can use your imagination to reduce it from two cups as one.

Even if the cup is transparent - it's more mysterious if you cover it with a hank. As to the form fitting properties of paper... yeah but you probably already tried that stuff out working from the Vernon routine in Stars of Magic... so back to the cup, tabled mouth down, cover with a hank... magic Smile just my half of two cents on the effect. all the coins I've dropped here
