Defiitely much easier to spin by balancing on the non-dominate and the dominate hand can give a more stable spin to the box

Great effect, however the gimmick is not as shown in the instructions. Has two half moons instead of one, so you cannot have the option of easily removing the gimmick. Secondly there is a ridge on the 'card' side which prevents easy insertion or removal of the deck.
So great for the spin - but not much good otherwise. Maybe I just got a bad gimmick??? |

Yay! Revolution is finally back in stock at Merchant of Magic.
Backorders are shipping out to everyone who pre-ordered on Monday! I'm expecting another day of the shop being overrun by magicians spinning decks again... Best wishes Dominic

I found this very easy to learn...but I have thick callouses from playing guitar, so simply used the gimmick to dig a hole into one of them, and it worked pretty much straight away. The box ain't going to fall off easily, as there is an actual hole in my finger. There is a distinct "click" as the gimmick finds the hole.
My technique is totally different to what's suggested on the tutorial, probably it's best to experiment to find what works best for you. I spin the deck from the closed end, to avoid wear and tear on the flap. |

Just got mine. Had a hard time getting the deck to spin. It hurts so much for me.

My fingers hurts a lot too and bled a few drops on the first day of practice . After getting the move down I moved to do the spin on my middle and ring finger and found that it worked better . I like this a lot .

Maybe it's just me , I found that doing it on my index is more painful than doing it on my ring or middle finger . The practice is worth it though once I got it down .

I'm getting the best results by spinning the deck on the very tip of my left forefinger, pointed directly upwards...... and also by using my right thumb and forefinger to grasp the deck on both sides to spin it. I find this delivers a much more even spin, although possibly doesn't look quite as elegant.

Got this for two weeks and found it so much fun to play with.
Start addicting to practice it from time to time. |

Just a funny incident. I saw a kid doing this at the Genii convention and it slipped and hit a wine glass with well... Predictable results... The glass pretty much shattered. Not something ya see real often.

Now I've been using it for a week, this is my favourite gimmick next to the TT. This adds theatre, which is real magic....

I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about this release! Took about 1 week to get a 10 sec spin on my forefinger. Now over a month into practice I can achieve around 16-17 secs on average. - Davey |

Love this! Greg came up with something really special here.
If you are looking for a fun presentational angle, routine and handling check out my routine ideas for Revolution including my handling of spinning it on the end of a sharpie marker over at Penguin Magic. It makes perfect sense in the context of the routine where the ink of a spectators signature is spun out of control on the signed card before being popped back into the signature. It also saves the fingers It also spins for a looooong time on the end of a Sharpie Demo video #2 http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/5902 Cheers, MJ |
