I am putting together a B*K*M double wallop signed card to wallet routine and am begging for tips on presentation. Would any of you whom currently do it in a table hopping environment care to share your ideas? For example...Kaps Load-produce then Mullica Load-produce.
More specifically, would you table the wallet between productions, or maybe put it back in your jacket and then make a point of showing your hand empty (ala Burger) before retrieving it a second time? For what it's worth my wallet is capable of Kaps. Mullica and LePaul envelope work as well. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

I would recommend doing a standard Card to Wallet the first time, and the second time, hitting them so hard, they don't know what way is up by doing Kaps, AND the Envelope.

Which wallet do you have? My BKM wallet cannot do the envelope at all.
I know some tricks improve with repetition, ie Ambitious, but I don't think card to wallet does. I think subsequent productions dilute them all. I mean if it is just so impossible to do, why does it keep happening? A climax, is the end, if you get my drift. Too much of a good thing just leads to numbness. Kirk G. |

I have the Garnier Elite w/ Le Paul function. You have a good point about diluting the effect though!

I agree with ending it with the wallet. It doesn't get better than that. You're stepping on your applause or shock factor if you keep it going.
I once did a trick where the card ended up in the wallet (Mullica) and then I put it back in the wallet but I actually stole it out and it ended up appearing somewhere else...it was so overkill. The good rule for a trick is that if you can't describe the routine in a sentence it's no good. |

General rules are fine, but there is nothing wrong with thinking outside the circle. Scotty York did it four times, having all four cards produced from the wallet in an envelope.
I used to do the card in wallet, but left a duplicate in the wallet all the time. I would immediately follow up with a forced card to wallet. Why? Because most of the time someone would say, "do that again" and they were watching very closely. So they were really burning everything. As far as a reason to remove the wallet, I used the gag pictures. Do you want to see a picture of my kids or my pride and joy. They always said, "YES". To add a mircle or a little humor, I used the plastic long card as a slide. Removing the long card gets a little groan, but it serves its purpose. I left the matching cards in the deck; you would be surprised at how many times they picked the long card or the 3 - INSTANT MIRAClE! |

That wallet looks interesting. I would like to see one. Anyone at the Castle have one?
