What if the results from the deflation incident turn out to be nothing? As it seems to be looking.

We'll see. But it's not looking that way at all.

Fresh off a Super Bowl victory, the New England Patriots seemed to get a win on the Deflate-gate front Monday as it emerged that only one of the 11 under-filled balls was significantly below the minimum inflation. Also working in favor of team Brady was the added detail that the mysterious locker room staffer seen on video going with the balls from one room to another before taking them to the field was, in fact, an elderly Pats employee who appeared to stop into a restroom before delivering the balls. Of those balls, reports NFL.com, 10 were likely just slightly under-inflated while only one was a full two pounds per square inch below the 12.5PSI minimum.

Sounds a lot less ominous to meThe Pats even turned over the video footage of the guy going into the bathroom.

Ok, hangover is finally gone . . . whew!
People keep talking "Why didn't they run the ball???" I agree BUT, who knows what would have happened? Maybe he would have fumbled it? Maybe the Pats would have simply stuffed him at the line. Maybe he would have run into the end zone for a touch down, and the Pats had 20 seconds to come back and kick a field goal to tie it? It was a gutsy move that backfired. As for the deflategate and spygate, get off the freaking wagon. You're obviously not Pats fans. WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Number 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is quite obvious that "left shark" was using an underinflated suit.

Unless that's his own TV, he's probably not going to be invited back for next year's party.

It did, however, call some of his claims 'implausible' and left little doubt that he had a role in having footballs deflated before New England's AFC title game against Indianapolis in January and probably in previous games." "In his report, attorney Ted Wells said the quarterback 'was at least generally aware' of all the plans to prepare the balls to his liking, below the league-mandated minimum of 12.5 pounds per square inch. Wells said it was 'more probable than not' that two Patriots employees - officials' locker room attendant Jim McNally and equipment assistant John Jastremski - executed the plan."

I thought it was pretty clear that Brady knew. His purported explanation was internally inconsistent.

Now if there is justice in the world, the Patriots would have to forfeit their win and hand the trophy to the Seahawks.
But that ain't gonna happen ... |
