I always like the guy, although am having trouble with some that has happened of late. Tortured soul, perhaps?
That notwithstanding, why must we always find a "culprit"? What is the true definition of "accident"? I try to be a safe driver, but have had a couple of occasions where I had to go into the berm due to someone who stopped way too fast for me to react...

That's true some of the time, if you're in a comparative negligence state, as opposed to a contributory negligence jurisdiction. The statement that they will go after the one with the most money isn't correct, though, since the amount of insurance available is not admissible at trial because it's irrelevant to the issue of negligence. (It does, however, play a significant role in settlement negotiations.)
