Is the Chef Special/Guest of Honor a thing of the past? Nothing yet this year and no upcoming guest notice. Also, were there a few removed from the archives for 2014? Just wondering, thanks.

I think everyone who's at all interesting has already been done, basically. This month was someone called Owain B Miles (nope, me neither) who achieved a new record of only 24 posts during his time in the "hot" (that is, ice-cold) seat.

Since it doesn't take up any space and doesn't impact anything on the Café, there is no need to remove it. It is remaining for archival purposes.
