Just got a collection of Stephen Kings books, the Green Mile ,fantastic book,i have parts 1 to 6 and have a good choice to hand out all the books for 2 to 3 spec's to choose, then I can hit them with several words.Another book I got was the Women in Black,i have it all ready but now I can use the spare copy,i have an idea to use sound efects from the film that will relate to what words have been chosen, even perhaps a strange smell entering the room,a tapping sound, the candle going out all words taken from the book.

Just performed a routine for the family and it went down realy well.I have a Harry Potter Book of Monsters and I got them to try and open up the book, which they could not.I then opened it up and took out the magic book marker for them to examine, then I used 4 of my daughters old Harry Potter books, the rest you will be able to work out, thought I would share my idea.

Finally I performed with the Oculus, employed in a routine based on Chamber's "Anty Story" writing of "Repairer of Reputations" and combined with Memento Mori as a pendulum and switch (I am managing to write it, there is an interesting and unusual use of Oculus)
The original routine employed two Oculus but I find it a little difficult to manage so I decided to use one. It went very well, the location was a small bar, after a friend's acoustic gig, very intimate. The people was pretty astonished and they were so attracted by the aesthetics of the props. Props that contributed to create a darker atmosphere. It is a great advantage for us that people like Baines decided to share their ideas and craftmanship. |

I don't see any "bad" points in it. Really. Or maybe only one: you can't use Oculus with every books, without set it up
