Three years later? I certainly hope so.

I think it was answered, although cryptically, a long time ago.
No trees were killed in the making of this message, but a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

My Sanada was timmed perfectly; same with the gimmick! Smile

Here is how I size the Sanada Sponge Ball Gimmick (lest there be any confusion!):

When resting on my slightly curled right fingers with the base of the gimmick at the base of my fingers, the top of the gimmick is just above the top crease of my right ring and middle fingers.

If you have sort of fat fingers, which end of the gimmick is up/down???? I don't know but mine is cracked.

The other one.

Regarding the key of the Sanada in question, this depends on how long your Sanada is. The shorter the Sanada, the higher the resonant frequency, and thus, the higher the pitch.

That must have been both inconvenient and painful.

There's a newish DVD that has several Sanada routines on it.
I like it.

Oy, vay!

I was going to actually put something in here that made sense, but then I thought, "why even bother?" :}>

Personally, I think Bill's avatar is gimmicked.

Yes, it is. I'm actually much larger than that, as you know.

Okay, so I lied. My Sanada gimmick didn't grow back.

Actually, I've never owned one. Just got my first one the mail from Abbott's today. It's a Goshman-made gimmick (came with a free sponge ball!). I'm a little worried about the shine. Is this something that should have makeup applied to it? Or, is the shine not something to worry about?

Thanks!

Use super fine sandpaper to rough it up a little. I do that with the hard plastic Vernet tips when I think they're particularly shiny.

Rumor has it, the gimmick helps to align his thoughts......
