Hello folks,
I am new to these forums and they are quite confusing at a glance, so bear with me on this. I am not 100% sure this is the right secton. I am highly interested in "Numero Uno" by Harry Lorayne. I've known about it for quite some time and I got really excited when I saw it make an appearance in ''Best ever collection'', but it was just a teaser xD. Where can I actually purchase the effect? As far as I'm aware, it's currently available only in his "Personal collection", but I find the cost rather prohibitive right now (ya know, working student and all). I would love to have the book and I am sure it's worth the cost, but I simply cannot afford it right now. Is there any way to purchase the single effect? Or at least a book that is not quite as expensive? I actually know how the effect works, I am mostly interested in Harry's handling with this. He repeats time and time again that he works with borrowed decks and the idea of performing it impromptu intrigues me. Thanks everyone for your help! Cheers, Costin. |

Hi Costin,
A few years back I bought a set of lecture notes from Mr Lorayne that included "Numero Uno". Perhaps if you got in touch with him he may have some left. He is here on the Café http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/bb_pr......ser=9538 I hope this is of some help.

It is readily available in The Classic Collection Volume 3, and can be purchased directly from Mr. Lorayne or through your favorite magic dealer!

Yeap, I now learned where to find it. However, the real issue remains: the prohibitive, at least for me, cost.
Regardless, thank you for your input. |

Welp, sorted it out. All I can say on the matter is that Mr Lorayne is a gentleman and extremely available. Kudos to him!

Costin,
Are you getting the book or the lecture notes? Tom

I will be getting the book sooner rather than later. Those lecture notes are collector's items and quite expensive as well. And the book has way more content.
