Magic is one of those things that cannot be sensed by the five senses and so it is nonsense. Like the will, magic is invisible and can only be seen in its effect. The effect makes sense and so apparently proves the nonsense exists and therein lies the dilemma. That is why there is no patter in our magic which is not essentially nonsense.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.
