John Booth published a number of books over the years. I believe this is more of this thoughts on magic. No tricks. All the more recently published books were his experiences in the world. One was a compilation of all his articles published in the MUM magazine.

He was a professional magician and performer in the 1930's and 1940's. His most popular books were combined into one book called The John Booth Classics. It contains Marvels of Mystery an Forging Ahead in Magic. This tells his methods for getting bookings and the tricks that he performed at those bookings.

He left magic and became a Minister, but always wrote books and articles on his adventures while traveling the world with his act.
