Hey Guys, just wondering if anybody would be able to help me out with some loop problems I am having. The loops that I am using now are awesom, but the actaully holding of them to my coat is becoming a real problem. I am currently using boby pins that are in my jacket, and I just hook the loop into the boby pin. But the problem with this is that if the dove moves in the pocket it pulls the jacket with it. Just wondering if anyone would be able to offer some suggestions?
Thanks!!! Darcy |

You doves should not be able to move around. I use 3M plastic tape. very small piece about a 1". I put the line in and remove it serveral time. Now the bottom part sticks to coat and the upper part is less sticky. I loop has a top and bottom, I use 2 pieces.

Darcy, WM is correct. The dove shouldn't move around in the pocket. It sounds from your description that you are using catgut for loops and it sounds like the bobby pin may be a little too tight if pulling on the loop also pulls the jacket. Try separate the bobby pin legs just a bit to relieve the tension but not enough to let the loop slide out.
Another idea is to leave just a little slack in the line so if the dove should move a little, it won't pull on the loop.
