Mine was Henry Hay's "Amateur Magician's Handbook." Took that out of the Navy Base library (I was a dependant) multiple times. When my parents got divorced, I lost the ID card :sad: but I had to go on the base to return the book This had to be the ONE time I'd been on that bus that Shore Patrol got on and checked IDs!!! So I had to promise to the big man with the gun and helmet that I would get off the base just as soon as I'd returned the book.
Many, MANY years later, I found the exact same version (black binding, yellow lettering on the cover) on eBay and BOUGHT IT!!!
