Sigh...didn't think so. Nevermind.

the word 'nevermind' suggests that you have something on your mind, wish to share or explain? Smile

Not muslims. Just extremists.

Would that be our Saudi allies, currently bombing Yemen, or our Egyptian allies, currently torturing their protestors?

Neither.

Then you don't consider the Saudis or Egyptians extremists?
Just trying to clarify your actual thoughts, though I know it may be difficult with your current one word limit.

The last time I checked, Saudi Arabia had not declared War on Canada. Nor had the Egyptians. Could you deny or confirm that landmark?
And if you could do it in a less snarky, more polite fashion, it would be a refreshing change.

You said you were worried about extremists. I asked then if you thought the Saudi or Egyptian governments extremist. Could you confirm or deny that? Or is it that the only criterion for extremism is to have declared war on the US or Canada? My position clearly is that the Saudi and Egyptian govts are extremist whether they have declared war on my part of the world or not.

And magicfish as to politeness--it's unrealistic to expect others to put more work into their responses than you put out into your own.

Since you didn't get any satisfaction from my response of "neither". I'll elaborate:
No. Neither. I'm referring to the ones whose sole purpose for breathing oxygen is to see yours and your family's throats cut out for not believing what they believe. This is the ultimate intolerance you are loathe to condemn.

No. I never once said I was worried about extremists. Stop trying to get fancy, landmark. Bring it back a notch and we can talk turkey. Otherwise, save your crapola for someone else.

Fancy? I'm just trying to have an intelligent conversation about world affairs with you. If you don't want to play, no problem. But one word answers don't count as holding up your end of the conversation.

And what in God's name makes you think I don't condemn ISIS? Unlike you, I don't want to take actions that will make it stronger. Or haven't you noticed that the bombing strategy is a completely failed strategy? ISIS grows stornger every time the US bombs it--the international recruiting figures go up and up. I asked you about Saudi Arabia, because ISIS draws its inspiration from Saudi Wahhabi ideology. Beheadings anybody?

Why not allow ISIS to have their own state!! pick a location, ask those who already live there to leave and pay their costs. Allow ISIS to settle in and allow other fighters to join them and then if any move out of the zone, pick them off. As most are men with few females supporters, they can have a gay old time together. The way they treat women, they will kill each other fighting over who's on offer.

What about when France bombs them? Or Canada or U.A.E?
Are the other 59 countries fighting ISIS making them stronger as well?

Yes, absolutely. Look around. Are they getting stronger or weaker?

Hmmm. Sounds like we have a bigger problem then, Landmark. A Death Cult wants to take over the planet and will stop at nothing to do it.
Now where or where have I heard this before...i swear this has happened before.
I cant quite remember how the world responded though. Ah nevermind, I'm sure the world followed your advice and didn't fight them.
I'll go down to the Royal Canadian Legion and ask some of my older, more learned fellows.
Good day. And Happy Easter.

Please remind me of which war for your,” when and what happened before??” and how the world responded?? If it was the GB lie war, then this is what lit the fuse. Now nearly all countries are concerned about support back home if they agree to fight and especially if they should put boots on the ground.

The US let the cat out of the bag by promising support to Syria but did nought. This war cannot be fought by bombing alone.
