Wow, Magnus, I must say I'm shocked. But I guess I'm not surprised.
To say that this Muslim lady is aiming for a 5th grade readership is disgusting. This article is a good example of a muslim lady supporting a tough stance on ISIS and that extremists are not representative of this fine religion. It's a shame that your political point of view has you so jaded. Rather than retort, you attack her personally, insult me, and dismiss her opinion because of where it is published. Sounds like 5th grade behaviour to me. Sincerely, Magicfish. |

The author's gender and religion are irrelevant. The Sun is a 2-bit rag.
As for going to war, this is not our way. We defend our allies, we keep peace and we defend our homeland. Using one anonymous youtube video as a pretext for a vanity war is simply un-Canadian. I am embarrassed by our Prime Minister. (And don't get me going on his bigoted anti-Muslim rant of a few weeks ago.)

Your opinion of the Sun is even less relevant.
However, your opinion on Canada's response to ISIS' declaration of war on our nation is. Thankyou for getting back on topic. |

ISIS has not declared war on Canada. An anonymous guy on Youtube has vaguely instructed supporters to attack Jewish-owned facilities in many countries, including Canada.
Moving troops into an autonomous country without the consent of the government (no matter how corrupt) to respond to a Youtube video? Really?

So to me, all news coverage over there isn't trustworthy. Scary!!!

Many of these things make no sense in Canada. Why under the Canadian Parliament building is there a rabbit hole?

Acesover- Before you parrot the anti-Obama party line, you really ought to check your facts and read what is at the factcheck link posted above:
Quote: While it has since proven true that there was not a protest outside the facility precipitating the attack, the notion that the attack had absolutely nothing to do with the YouTube video (a clip showing an excerpt from the anti-Islam film “The Innocence of Muslims” that sparked protests and riots in dozens of countries, many of which outside U.S. diplomatic missions) is simply not supported by the facts. In reality, many witnesses who were interviewed shortly after the attack said that the militants from the Ansar al-Sharia brigade were chanting about the video during the assault on the facility. |

Seriously Bob...If you want to get into a pi__ing contest there are as many articles that disagree with you as agree with you. Let's stop cherry picking. This is nothing but he said, she said. I am just tired of how you feel that Obama along with the Clintons can do no wrong. Seriously give it a rest already. Don't you get tired of defending Hillary? I mean it is a full time job, and if you want to bring Bill and Obama into the picture you are going to have to hire more people. Seems like she always has a skeleton falling out of her closet. But as many say here. Why state facts?

You are the one who incorrectly stated that the video had nothing to do with it. I can't help it that the facts prove otherwise. If you even bother to read what I cited you will see that it DOESN'T state that the video caused the attack, nor did I say that. I merely pointed out that it did, indeed, have something to do with it and that it wasn't only the White House that related the video to the attack. So did witnesses and the Associated Press reporting from the scene.
Nuance, it appears, is something that completely escapes you. |
