I'm really keen to find out about this board too!
The description is very vague, but the board looks so *** plain.... very interested |

Hmm. How many pieces of information can it handle? If it can deal with say 4 or more, that could be useful to me depending on how it looks. Wish there was a performance video, as that "demo" vid on the site told me nothing.

I ordered this on Monday and was excited to see it ship out the first day. I was mainly looking for a writing pad that I could print a logo on. The other features to this will be a bonus to me but I'll write a review up once I have it and can play around with it.

Yeah the video demo really says nothing - no features, no demonstrations, no information at all. Makes me skeptical.

I have had this for a few weeks now. It was mentioned as being a nice switching tool for Cody Fisher's Comedy Book Test, so I bought it for that reason. While this board will certainly make the ending of Cody's booktest easier, this is nothing more than what it says, its a board. Meaning the board really does nothing other than give you a firm writing surface and its size aids you in performing a switch. (Although its not really a switch, its a move commonly used in card magic, a d****e l**t)
I don't think I am giving anything away here, and if so it is not my intent. Based on the above posts I think others are under the impression that there is something special about this, and I wanted to share that there is nothing special or high tech per say about this board other than it does what I mention above and it does make the ending of the Cody Fisher Booktest easier, which is why I purchased it. I am glad I have it and I will use it, however based on the name of the prop and the vague information about it, I have a feeling some will be disappointed when you receive this, so I wanted to share my opinion. I hope this helps. |

Thanks for that explanation. I too saw it on Cody's Book Test DVD and had the same perceptions. In truth I thought it looked a bit sloppy even in Cody's performance. I was hoping I was missing something. I was thinking it was a switch board or perhaps something like the Biss board or similar. So it's $30 just for a board to use as cover and a writing surface with no specific features? This is exactly what I was wondering.

Hey guys so the Pro Board is essentially just a writing surface, however it's something that Anton has developed after hundreds of performances in the real world. For those who don't know, Anton performed at Halloween Horror Nights, where he worked his act more times than I can count. That's where this board came in handy. While it's true that it's just a writing surface, its one that has been designed specifically for magic. It's the perfect size, its durable, and it's been designed to help with some super secret moves that you need for some routines. Plus it's perfect for branding, so you can customize it for any event. Like I said a lot of thought went into this, and if you're a working pro, you'll understand the benefits this has.
Hope that helps!

No clue how this is being sold for $30. As stated above, it doesn't do anything. You don't ever write on it.
Re cody's book test, I recently found dry erase poster board. It's perfect for his routine. |

Hi Fellow Magi,
If any of you are looking for a superb switching tool which will fulfil a multitude of requirements when it comes to switching in predictions, billets, playing cards etc. I can wholeheartedly recommend The Conversus Clipboard by Steve Pelligrino. It is an excellent utility device which can be made up for a few pounds and will, I am sure, find a use in a multitude of mental effects, etc. The Conversus Clipboard manuscript is available by download from that veritable goldmine of magical publications www.lybrary.com Hope this helps. Proboard is nothing but a sleight... which is weird because it's a basic sleight (used with cards, wallets, notepads, etc) and it's being sold as something else.
$30 for it? I think this should be given for FREE not sold... |

I almost bought this as it's advertised as a switching device. It isn't it's a piece of whiteboard and you are taught a slight that everyone knows.Any old clipboard/whiteboard from staples could be described as a switching device.Very naughty indeed I'm sorry this is pushing the limits of advertising something that it definitely isn't.

I'm interested if anyone has this
And they still use it Or they can suggest why it's worth buying As it is advertised as a switching device but obviously isn't gimmicked So not sure how it actually helps I've just bought the Anton James at the table lecture so will watch there to see if there is any help in working out if this is worth a purchase I did look at the section in the Comedy Booktest... but it was just a super short plug for the ProBoard with no hints as to how it would help with the effect Anyway - if anyone has any feedback or a review - negative or positive - I would be most interested |
