No, that is where most of the comedy comes in. You fold the banana as the instructions tell you to and it will make a mess. The children love it.

A great tip that I got from somebody here on the Café is to put a small zip-lock bag or other plastic bag into the pocket in the cloth, then you can just take the bag out and throw in into the trash without making a mess or havning to wash the bag.

Totally agree with you there.
It is a great effect when using it as part of a comedy routine. I perform it at parties, Hallowe'en, whatever but it's a winner everytime

I use it while performing at block parties. Both kids and adults think that a magician squishing a banana is hilarious, and the ending is totally unexpected.
