Gay unions should be 100% legal in the USA ... it's a free country...This girl has identified it as a sin and according to her belief system it is. However, sin is legal in America, and her parents should have taught her that. However...
I think unsafe sodomy is an expensive proposition no matter what name you give it. I've lost so many friends to AIDS that I can no longer count them on my fingers. The emotional, physical, and psychological cost is overwhelming. If gay marriage saves lives I think it's the best way to go. But it raises this question of sexual satisfaction and desire. What if someone is bi-sexual and require both sexes to be fulfilled? Can they marry two others because that is their desire? Now let's go a step further ... What if a hound dog like myself claims that I need several women to complete my marriage desires? Is polygamy now an option?

Let's be as honest as we can possibly be (just for once, here at NVMS): wouldn't any lawyer worth his or her salt challenge God as a juror? Or would God be so good that he or she would persuade the lawyer that he or she is the perfect juror? It's a "rock so big you can't move it" scenario, but more fun to think about. Thanks, Lobo. Canadian lawmakers have voted to expand spy powers that will make it easier for police to arrest and detain Homosexuals without charge. The act will give the spy agency the ability to operate overseas and make preventative arrests. In other parts, the Afghan government has launched a major offensive against Homosexual forces near the north-eastern provincial capital of Kunduz and Sir Elton John has told a US Senate panel that homosexuals could be eradicated in his lifetime, but only if the US government continues funding the fight against the virus.

This woman IS sticking her nose where it doesn't belong, and making a fool of herself, but how is it so different from the other ways religion attempts to influence the law, i.e. abortion, which seems to be your biggest ax? Not to pick a fight, really, but if she reads the same book, and subsequently has the same beliefs, then how is she excluded? Is she like some crazy distant relative that you never pick up the phone when she calls, and her invitation always "gets lost in the mail"? It seems to me that she saw something that she thought was very harmful to society, in her opinion, and took action. Not very subtle, but why should she be?

So basically this woman is advocating for Sharia law, which states that homosexuality is not only a sin, but a punishable crime as well. It's ironic that those who fear the implementation of Sharia law in this country the most (a totally unfounded fear to begin with) have no problems enforcing their own brand of religious lunacy.
Anyway, I'm sure God can wipe his brow now and be thankful that finally... FINALLY, somebody - namely Sylvia Ann Driskell of Nebraska - has filed a lawsuit against homosexuals! Sure there's Leviticus, but now there's a lawsuit!! And before long, homosexuality will be banished from the planet forever! God must have a special place waiting for Sylvia Ann Driskell, his greatest Ambassador!!! PS - I'd also like to be there when Jesus gets called to the stand to testify. Ron

Homosexuality is a religion?
Do some of them demand a strict adherence to their doctrines? Is their God called Gay?
