I have seen it posted somewhere on here. I love the idea.

It all stems from this TED talk Abrams gave: http://www.ted.com/talks/j_j_abrams_mystery_box?language=en

I think there's a lot to be learned from the inherent magic and mystery of an unopened box.

Love the lock. Would look nice on my economy coffins.

I did come across it as I was researching password padlocks (discussed down in the Crypt). But, not being a card man, I suppose I just shrugged and moved on.

I should turn in my Dharma Initiative jumpsuit!

Yes, I've known about this for a while- a great TED talk, worth it for any merchant of mystery, and the box is a very cool idea. Theory 11 is a savvy company with great products- very nice cards in particular. JJ is the man these days...

I own this box.
It is a nice package the only thing I wish that had happened differently...was that somehow this box had also been marketed through Tannen's.
The original Mystery Box TED Talk was about Tannen's.
Tannen's still sells the actual mystery boxes with the question mark symbol.
They also have a nice soft teeshirt for sale with their question mark logo. Very soft.
