I found it very fascinating records, first of all it is NOT MODERN MUSIC!!! (If I had a time machine I will be in the 20's tomorrow...) It is very inspired by British Isles folk music and 1800 atmospheres,acoustic, wooden sounds, layers of musical "fog", profound narrative voices and lady's background singing, no modern sounds at all.
I think that there is a lot of records out there which will be very inspirational for every bizarist. Records which themes and atmospheres are absolutely linked to the Art we love. Absolutely original stuff that sounds like produced 100 years ago... |
