Please note that the Rotation Change taught on the WhiteWash DVD is very similar to the Clip Spin Change by Mike Hankins, averrable at Ellusionist here:
http://www.ellusionist.com/clip-spin-by-mike-hankins.html The effect (changing the top card as the deck rotates between the hands) is identical, and the method is also pretty similar (same card coming from same place, but it gets there in a different way). I think I like Mike's more. |

Actually I'm pretty sure it's the same move that Dave Forrest put on his 2005 DVD set The Trickery. He called it the Revolution Change. Mike's an awesome guy and I'm sure he didn't know about Dave's move. Independent creation.

I just got this...totally glad I did...Ricks teaching is thorough, and this is easy to use but very good effects!
Totally worth the cost! |

Rick, do you have any preference to combine those effects into a small routine / act mind you can share?
Most memorable moment - with Maestro Juan Tamariz & Consuelo Lorgia in FISM Busan 2018.

The traditional Mental Photography presentation has so many moments in it...which, I think, gives the spectator more chances to figure out what's going on. It also makes each moment less special. I know we all want to fill out our routines...but I think there's something to be said for one, simple, clean moment of magic. Different schools of thought on this, of course, but I love watching David Blaine watch....moves very slowly...no fancy moves...all builds up to one impossible moment...and then you let that moment linger. But if you want to take things in a totally different direction, that could be good. Examples: -After deck goes white, switch it for SpreadWave and do that. -After deck goes white, switch it for 'normal' deck of blank cards and do mentalism. -Do the version where the card is signed and rest of the cards go blank, and then go into a signed card teleportation (i.e., Clarity Box)...or a destruction and restoration like Brent Braun's.... |

Just got done watching the 40+ mins of Rick teaching several different performance ideas as well as some great moves.
Already had a mental photography deck - now I've got a backup deck and some far better ways to perform this effect. I feel I absolutely received my $$ worth with this purchase. |

International customers who want to source their own deck and save on shipping-
Just input a USA address for the 'Ship to'. Who cares where the shipment goes, right? Have the deck mailed to a friend in the USA or post in the For Sale section and go "halvesies" on it. Donating the deck to a USA magic club or circle could be nice too. ...Since you only desire the download, it will show up in your, My Penguin Magic.
How many magicians does it take to change a lightbulb? Regardless, for magicians darkness is a time for d'lite.
