Once I received a double payment from an employer. My salary increased, and my employer deposited both my old AND my new monthly wages into my account. Honest idiot I am, I brought the matter to their attention. I should have stayed quiet and kept drawing double pay until they found the mistake on their own.
Anyway, I had to write my employer a check as they had no ability to reverse the deposit. FWIW, this was a few days after the fact of the deposit and certainly not within a 24 hour period as someone mentioned above. As for the OP ... admittedly the personal banking system in the U.S. is riskier, more poorly managed, less regulated, and less trustworthy (no offense intended, just going by the number of banking lawsuits and bank failures I read about) than in some other developed nations ... yet I still have some difficulty believing any major bank in the U.S. would really permit a withdrawal as described by irossall unless the party doing the withdrawal (or deposit reversal) had the authority to do so.

The fix is in ... In the same way they took Trillions of dollars in HOMES they will take your 401K and the majority of your savings. By forcing our retirement investment into the stock market they have set us all up for the big crash.
The money you do save will be worthless due to the inflation that will follow.

Logically, the Patriots were to call a time out. It's common procedure in that situation to stop the clock to give themselves more time after Seattle scored. But amazingly they didn't .... Had they actually LOST the game everyone would have criticized them for not doing it.
They didn't BECAUSE ..They knew what the next play would be. So they intercepted the pass they knew would be thrown. Check the Patriots history ... They are proven play stealers ... Ask yourself ... Why pass when you have three plays and the number one running back in the nation?????

So what about GETTING there?
Oh my God Slim what IF they pass play worked? Sports history is chalk full of plays that were called INTENTIONALLY because they did not seem to be the "right" play. It seemed that this was "obvious" and then that was done and it threw off the other team. Your hair brained theories aside the magnitude of the cover up would be MONUMENTAL. Literally thousands of people would have to be involved. Then they get traded to other teams and then not to say anything. Do you even listen to yourself sometimes? I have to say that one was disappointing. Even for you.

Nope .. Not at all .. How many people were involved in deflating those balls????? How long have they been getting away with it?
They were busted stealing plays before. Nothing new to them. The dead giveaway was that they didn't call time out ... They knew the sneaky pass play was coming and told the guy to intercept it .. pretty simple really!

My wife would rip you apart Danny (Figuratively). However, she is a true, TRUE, Seahawks fan.
Personally, I don't care if they all got gum disease. Not you Danny, but your argument... see what I mean is she would reduce your argument to the basest flaw that it is based on. You would still be a good person (I imagine, I haven't met you)
Magic is doing improbable things with odd items that, under normal circumstances, would be unnessecary and quite often undesirable.
