BICYCLE® PIN-UP PLAYING CARDS By Classics Playing Cards

Image

The Bicycle Pin-Up Deck brings back the women who drove millions of men crazy back in the days before television and Internet.

ABOUT THIS PROJECT...

Here they are, in all of their vintage glory. The Bicycle® Pin-Up deck by Classics Playing Cards is now available on Kickstarter.

THE TUCK BOX

She's risqué but never explicit. She's flirtatious but fiercely independent. She's erotic but always safe for work, a welcome sight for your teenage cousin and prudish mother alike. She's the pin-up girl, an all natural American sweetheart created to win the adoration of men across the country. Printed on USPCC's classic Air-Cushion Finish.

THE COURTS

Image

The Pin-Up girl craze started as far back as the late 1800's. Back then they were known as Calendar Girls. These lovely ladies were put onto Calendars to help spice up the ad industry. Needless to say, calendars sales were never hotter.

These women knew how to get their way and they did with style as sass. Pin-Up girls have always shown the best aspects of a woman, including their work ethic, their determination and their edge. Oh, and they made sure they looked fabulous when doing so.

War Time Girls. It started back in World War One When Gibson Girls were willing and ready to join the fight for their country! During World War Two there was a peak in the Pin-Up with girls dressing a bit more scandalous and giving way to a golden age in US History throughout the 40s and 50s. Celebrities started getting in on the fun as well with Rita Hayworth as the leader of the pack. Little did we know it would open the flood gates to a whole new generation on bombshells.

The 1960's Pin-Up brought with it the sexy swim suit and of course Playboy. Also with the help of Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe and Sophia Loren woman were beginning to feel a lot more confident in their skin.

We haven't seen as many appearances by these beauties in today's culture. Dita Von Teese and Katy Perry are a few that come to mind. However, these classic ladies always seem to make a comeback.

Image

With a new era upon us we can not wait to see what these Pin-Up ladies have in store. It has become an American Classic and that is why we have created The Bicycle Pin-Up Deck.

THE BACKS

Almost as beautiful as the ladies. These pips really pop and appeal to the Pin-Up fashion patterns.

THE NUMBERS

Clear, Clean and Crisp. These numbered cards are easy to read and look great during a game or just to admire.

RISKS AND CHALLENGES

It is the 6th of September. I have not received an e-mail asking me for my address to send my cards to.
I realize that it is early September but it seems to me that I should have been asked where I want them sent.

My question is, has everyone given this information to Kickstarter or am I being forgotten? Money has been withdrawn from my bank weeks ago.
Thank You.
