How can you get a potential first client? and when him over if he is interested in you in general terms? Since you have not done tradeshows before.

Well Don... to get started you will probably have to "Cold Call." You will have to make a lot of calls, but sooner or later you will contact someone willing to listen to what you have to say. This is how I, and many, of the guys got there first few clients. When you are working, cold calling will diminish significantly because you will get leads from people who see you. I go into the entire process rather extensively in the trade show university series.
