Hello friends,
I'm trying to locate a coin effect a friend has, but does not remember when or where he acquired it. The effect is a coin disappears (signed if need be), and reappears attached to a key chain. The coin itself is surrounded by essentially a ring in which it is locked tightly, hence the mystery. Any further description would be exposing the method. Not cool. If anyone has heard of such an effect, better still where to purchase, please share. Always a pleasure, Al |

I know what you're talking about, but I don't have a name for it. I might have bought mine from Al Cohen years ago.

This effect is called "The Mark". It was originally created by John Murray, who gave future rights to it to Al Cohen. Al sold it at his shop for a number of years in both half dollar and quarter editions. Paul Richards, then proprieter of Elmwood Magic, obtained the rights to it from Al Cohen and sold his version in half dollars only. I'm not certain if anyone else carries it now that Elmwood Magic has been acquired by Penguin Magic. Whoops! I just checked at Pengion Magic and here it is: http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/3688
I have "The Mark" that was sold by Elmwood Magic. It is a fantastic effect, extremely deceptive and yet easy to perform. And it is well worth the price; actually at $50 it's a bargain! Jim |

I have the half version, but would love to have the quarter version as well.
