Hi Cl, I have emailed Docc about this requesting information on the prediction as it doesn't state when or how this is revealed let alone the format...
Also it appears as though there is a demonstration video on the site but it fails to load.. Best Nic |

A.D.D. is a real-time mentalism method for performing Add-A-Number. It is a no gaff, no switch method.
It works. I performed it Saturday. Also sent a variation of it to Docc. For me it was worth the money. But then all of Docc's routines have worked out for me because he actually has performed them. You're not buying theory. |

Is there any chance Dan of a run by of how and who you performed this on .......maybe set the scene ...and run it by us ?
p.s I have seen the video now and I am still none the wiser I am afraid... for example How does this differ and compare to Carlisle' Add a No ? Doccs work is very good but I and others would like to know whether this gives the concept of Add a No a different angle to work from; one that is possibly cleaner than others currently being used ? thanks Nic thanks Nic |

The situation was soft. It was for friends at a party. Normally that's not the best audience for mentalism but for this routine I needed to make sure the method would work. If it got past them, it will get past anyone.
I also wanted a soft situation because I didn't have all the blocking worked out. Still don't. And my timing needs improvement. And frankly my patter was off. I knew it would be first time. Docc gives you things to say, when to say them and how to say them. I forgot a few. But in spite of all these issues, it worked first time out of the gate. Good reaction. So the method is sound. I just have to get better at it. I can't compare it to other add-a numbers. I've never like the trick. But as a recent convert to TOD - another trick I've never cared for - I thought I'd give this a whirl. It overcame every objection I've had to add-a-number. I've come to the conclusion that reviews are useless. Who am I to tell you what's good and what isn't. What works for me may not work for you. I can say that Docc's ADD fits me to a T. Will it fit you? No idea. I will add that this routine depends entirely on you. No gadgets. No dual reality. It's all you. Just you and your big fat face hanging out there. If you like that type of thing, this may be for you. Docc does show you how to make a clever back-up gaff if the method he gives worries you. My advice for what it's worth is don't use it and go for the gold. Later, D |

I second Dan's estimation of ADD. Subtle method, bold, straightforward, simple. The principle method is powerful and uses no gimmicks. No confederates of any kind. I suggest this is most appropriate for those comfortable in the mentalist's mindset.

Thanks Dan and Jstreiff. I could not get the video to load on Chrome but was able to watch it in Safari. I agree with Spectrahue that the video does not add much (pun intended), however, I appreciate your thoughts on the product.

This is a really good add a number effect. Having begun to digest the information, I can't wait to try it out.

Hi, appreciate your feedback on this and I would just like to clarify the format in which the A.D.D. is taking place that is all..
Are the numbers written by several individuals or will one person suffice? Like I said in a previous post.. How much different is this to Carlisles Add a No? It seems as though this effect is reliant on verbal suggestion and if this the case it is very much different to Carlisles. Ps what is the T.O.D effect you mentioned Dan? Thanks Nic |

Thanks for the review! Also, can anyone help me get in touch with Docc? He was supposed to give me store credit almost a week ago but I have not heard from him despite multiple emails.

If anyone is looking for information on Raymond Carlyle then take a look here on the Café ; this guy has some simple and direct methods to achieving some very miraculous effects.
http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......forum=15 The reason I think he gets overlooked is because of the awkward spelling of his surname ; even I mis spelt it in my post ! Apologies for not clarifying this before hand regards NIC |

Spectrahue, the numbers are written by several people (each person writes a number). You can have 3 or 4 numbers written (that's 3 or 4 different people writing numbers) and another person adds them. This is great for getting a table or group of people all involved. Could you do it one-on-one? Possibly... with the right person, and enough confidence. Perhaps you could choose 2 numbers each and then performer adds them up...? But I think this would weaken the impact - it's adding a lot of procedure to a one-on-one trick that is harder to justify. Why choose so many numbers to add? Whereas with a group, you are asking a few people to choose numbers to get everyone involved, and produce a miracle. The power of ADD is being able to force or arrive at almost any number you desire.

I should have written: the power of ADD is being able to force or arrive at almost any number you desire on the spot, on the fly, impromptu, and without switching the chosen numbers!

I too have invested in A.D.D. and while I love the method and Docc's thinking, I in particular love Docc verbal intro to the mp3. Docc says, "Welcome to A.D.--hey what's that?" I laughed my head off.
