I recently purchased a Tango dollar T.U.C. and am having difficulties.
1) There is a very noticeable sound when the magnetic shell is being removed or addded to the metal coin. An undeniable grating or "click" sound, respectably. It is so loud that even in a restaurant setting, I have to make patter or noise with visible coins to cover the revealing sound. 2) I have also had a problem with the metal coin not easily being removed. Maybe the fit is off or the magnet is too strong, but there is no ease of removal I have heard other magicians talking about. Maybe I got a lemon or knockoff? Any (constructive) advice welcome |

First try placing a paper sticker over the mag and see if it helps.
This will separate the two parts slightly and make separation easier. Not sure about the noise - never encounter it with either my Morgan or Ike. I do occasionally sense a scraping sound with Bottom Separation move, but not loud.

There is a method taught on the DVD you received to make the coin "looser" or "tighter" with a little pressure. Have you tried that yet?

Round or square? The answer for the original TUCs is "square" and might make some moves more difficult.
