The links which have %A0%A0 at the end (visible on mouseover) don't work. This character string is not used in youtube links.
The first link in the above post works.

Gbhunter77,
Aloha! I have to commend you on your effort. I don't know how long you've been studying the art...although you seem to have a fair amount of moves and/or routines in your repertoire.
Without sounding too critical...I'd like to offer my thoughts in regards to the videos you posted. You again, appear to have the routines somewhat memorized...which is a good thing! I would suggest working on your patter and smoothing out your actions in conjunction with said patter. At times, it seemed like you were in performance mode...then switched to..."I'm going to explain what I'm doing, as I'm doing it." The pacing of your patter and actions seems to drag a tad as well, meaning...it seemed as if you were performing and trying to think of what you were doing at the same time. I could be wrong. I've heard it said before...and I practice what I preach, in saying that one should practice, practice and practice some more before showing a magic piece. You should have the routine down so cold that you don't have to think about what comes next...or be able to perform it in your sleep so to speak. Just my thoughts on the matter.
Keep practicing and performing! You seem to have a great love for the art and I am in no way trying to discourage you.

Aloha!

Thank you ;D. Patter is the most difficult for me, I stop because not what I'm doing with my hands but thinking of what to say next.

Keep working at it! How do you practice your patter? I've found that for me...I usually write what I'm going to say, exactly timed to the actions of the routine...down on paper. While writing it down, I'll break it down into sections (beginning, middle, more middle, ending etc.)Then I'll memorize each section...once I've memorized each section...I'll put them all together and memorize the entire script.
After I've memorized the entire patter, I'll add in the actions of the routine.
It's a lot of work...but that's what works for me. Another thing you might try...is to come up with a character. It doesn't have to be over the top...it can just be yourself..or an exaggerated version of yourself. While you are performing...remember to try and stay in character.
Your patter script should then just be a road map to where you want to go with the routine. Sometimes, I stick to the script..other times I have to improvise depending on spectator feedback or situations that may arise while in the moment...but still maintaining my direction within the routine...which really helps when you have the script memorized cold. Hope this helps.

Aloha!
