One of the best currently available, also called a finger reel.

Supplies are very low, and all others are made in India.

Quiet, is controlled by regular maintenance, by applying Vaseline about every 5 years.

Do not let the line snap back without any thing attached to the reel. This will break the spring and thread.

Just seen on www.hocus-pocus.com they have the Owen's finger reels available for $75.00. This would be a good choice as well.

Owen's reel were a copy of the P&L Reels.
