There are so many ways to look at the world that when you stop to think about the infinitely small more than mindboggling apparitions appear. I would argue this either way. You know there was a popular movie about medical students who would (in a controlled setting) stop there hearts and experience what was on the other side for like a second. Could this 'quantum entanglement' have some implication for the mind?

Spiritualists and purveyors of the supernatural always jump on quantum mechanics because QM is weird. Bare in mind that these people know next to nothing about quantum mechanics. You don't find actual quantum physicists spouting woo-woo like Deepak Chopra. In the same way you don't see actual climate scientists doubting global warming.
