Can you guys think of any good promotional tools to help get your name out there? Whether it be via the internet or putting an ad in the paper.

Things I can think of that jump out at me immediately are:

-Gigsalad
-Gigmasters
-thumbtack
-craigslist (sketchy but it has landed me some good gigs)
-pennysaver (or your local newspaper ad for your city or county)
-personal website (your own website you create for your business)
-the social media (youtube, instagram, twitter, Facebook, linkedin, google+, etc)

Any other sites like gig salad or gig masters that host your profile for free? Btw, if this thread exists already I apologize. I could not find it anywhere!

As I'm shortly to be out of work (full time) I'd love to build up my magic business from it's current horribly low point - so ANY suggestions as to good ways to get the name out there would be much appreciated - I suspect by a lot of Café members!
