From what little I can see of the detail on the cards in the videos, I like the look of the cards.

They should perhaps offer a little discount for getting the second set at the time of purchsing of the 1st....?
I do like the cards & the storyline of the effect. Considering getting a double set when they're available. |

I've seen one video with a routine consisting of two effects.
The first effect was a prediction where 'he' places one face down card to the side and then asks 'her' to choose one card with her left hand and it's a match. Is that the effect or routine that requires two sets of cards? |

Once the pictures are turned over, they appear to be perfectly matched.(NOTE: To do this effect you will need two decks of The Family) Leo |

I have the set and also agree a 2nd should be available at a discounted price or possibly even a deluxe package that already contains two sets of the 5 family members. The routine I've been performing with the cards uses just one set. Does anyone know if there's a forum where different ideas with the cards can be posted? I'm old school and my routine uses a Peter Kane idea with a little Bro. John Hamman thrown in as well.

I ended up buying this and I am in agreement... A BIG DISCOUNT for a 2nd Set!!!! ($1.00 per card for not having them included in the first place.) Let's face it, there are other cards that are included with absolutely no mention on when and how to use them. Not a single idea. Granted, it is up to our imagination. I like the "Zombie" card, but no mention of a possibility of how to incorporate it. Now C'mon... They added those few "Extra" cards and they couldn't add the 5 other "Necessary" cards to do the other highlighted routine... Perhaps 1 of the best of the 3 routines. I think a scam was scheming just to get more money from us customers, by teasing us. Buyer Beware, even if it says so in the advertisement. Buying the routine for $40-50 (when buying 2 sets) is ridiculous. The packaging is horrendous also... A tethered parchment paper/envelope would suffice like the Gypsy Curse effect or Cardshark's Metamorphosis effect. Instead, the cards just come wrapped up in a cheap "plastic (saran) wrap". Now, my cards are just loose after opening the plastic wrap. I bought the effect to combine with the "Whitestar" (Titanic) effect and/or "From Hell" (Jack the Ripper) effect. Still brainstorming.... .

I bought this and I really LOVE the cards. The price is very low and yes, the packaging leaves a bit to be desired. They look GREAT, are a nice size, and sure, he could have included a second set, a DVD to perform 39 seperate effects, an aged, leather bound wrapped leather envelope, a t-shirt, membership into an on line cult and more, but instead, you get some cool cards, some great extra cards, several different presentation ideas and a chance to think for yourself. I like the "bare-bones" approach. I have spend a lot of money on those "complete packages" from many great dealers, but at the end of the day, I like my effects to look unique, original and unlike anyone else's.

I share the thoughts about the second set of cards - it feels like slightly bad form to include a routine which requires an extra set - which would have been an inexpensive addition to the set. I suspect that an experienced mentalist will get some good use out of these but I was a bit disappointed by the routines provided. You can read my full review on the site below.

I really love these cards, good quality, great effects. Thank you Max.
I agree that it is a shame that 1 out of 3 routines needs a second set of card which was not included (for PREMONITION). These cards have been published for months now. I have two questions 1. Anybody found a forum or routines to include the extra cards? 2. In the first part of the routine “Find the Dead” video, the magician put the card Helen on the side and the spectator appear to choose freely Helen too… I don't find the effect on the pdf …could somebody PM me ? (I contacted the Max Vellucci and he answer me the explanation was in the pdf… so I am puzzled now) Thank you for your help, I really love these cards, |
