Hi guys !
Some of you might already know that I'm writting quite a lot of reviews, only to help people to decide whether a trick is worth their time and money. I spent quite some time building a website up to host those reviews and I hope you will enjoy it. Feel free to tell me what do you think of it, if you spot any english errors (english isn't my first language) and what could be improved ! Here it is : http://lesavisdalexis.wix.com/reviews Thanks a lot and I can't wait to see what do you think about it. (reviews are still being published)

Great Alex. I enjoyed reading your reviews.
One question. Why do you have the MM logo on your site (with clickable link)? If you are affiliated in any way it would be worth pointing out so any bias is taken into consideration. Keep it up.

But people do prefer review about the latest (and sometime, the greatest) so I need the help of Murphy's Magic to get new items every month so I can keep providing you reviews. I have no deal with them, no contract and, of course, no obligation of saying good things about something I don't like. I choose the products I want to review too, I don't have a specific trick each month, I do choose which one I want to review. Sometimes I'm very happy with it, sometimes, it is just ok and sometimes, it's not even worth looking at. But I have to be honest, I choose more products that I think are good. As a creator myself, I don't like receiving a bad review when I put time and efforts into a project. I tend not to be so negative, trying to find pros and cons in each product. But sometimes, they are tricks I really don't like, it has not happened a lot though. If you're interested in a product, I suggest you to watch and read every possible review about it then, if you're not satisfied, just go and buy it. You will see if your opinion is more like reviewer A or more like reviewer B and you can then maybe trust a little bit more the reviews you're reading. I'm trying to be honest every time I do a review, trying to think like somebody who just has bought it and open the package. Would I be happy ? Can I perform it ? And so on. By the way, if you want any product to be reviewed, just send me a mail to : lesavisdalexis@gmail.com and I will try to get it. Thanks again for all the support, hope you will like my next reviews

Are you going to be doing any video reviews in English?
Are you going to be filming any performances with an audience? Do you perform these before reviewing them (even if in French), or do you just review them based on your opinion after reading / watching the instructions, or does it vary (sometimes you perform them, sometimes not)? I think it would be good for the people reading / watching to know if you have actually performed them. I looked at a couple of reviews in English (unfortunately, the French I took in High School is so long ago that trying to watch the videos just reminds me that I know VERY little French at this point), and have one comment / suggestion - if something takes up any space, don't say it doesn't take up any space. You are not the only person I've seen do this, and I've never understood why people say "This takes up no space." Even if it's a small amount of space, that's still some space. For example, your review of "What Tha" by Rodger Lovins. While you might keep it in the case, it takes up space in the case. If you are strolling, are you carrying a case around with you? If not, then this would take up pocket space. Is there going to be anywhere for people to interact with you, other than comments on the YouTube videos? Overall though - nice job from what I've seen and keep up the good work. |

Thank you .It is a nice site.I am doing surveys in my current job.I believe 5 hearts would give you more flexibility in your ratings.5 = excellent, 4 = good. 3 = average, 2 = below average and 1 = poor.I find having a high ,low and middle to be a better representation of opinion.Just a suggestion.
