I worked in hospitality for a while and a lot of what you explained struck a chord with me. One aspect that I'm not so sure about though is your method of getting the group on side by having a little laugh at the expense of the grumpiest member of the group (this was something I would never do, in hospitality or magic). Have you ever had a bad reaction from it (e.g. "yea, I just lost my wife?). It sounds alike a big risk for a cheap gag. |

Yea I too only watch Craig’s and Steve Faulkner’s shows because have they both have the chops when it comes to performing magic.
