If anyone is questioning whether or not the work to do Solid Deception is worth it, let me tell you that it is. It's a great effect to make out of an old deck.

Solid Deception -- I perform this once in a blue moon. In the right situation, it kills

Las Vegas Leaper -- already mentioned in this thread, naturally

Cros Twist -- I couldn't really understand what was so great about this one out until I saw Oz Pearlman perform it on one of Penguin Magic's videos -- turns out I had managed to understand it all wrong. Very visual, very, well, astonishing. Anyway, go dig up the video on Penguin (Just find the page selling AOA vols 1-3).

There are also many, many more, but I need my beauty sleep so will leave it at that. Aside from...

Eng's Bottles -- I haven't looked over PH's method too closely here, but the idea was all it took for me to start sticking decks of cards in bottles by any means necessary!

I think I'm sold on the AOA series now. Pretty much everything I've read on them is very positive Smile

I love Reset and Bizarre Twist. Surprisingly, I haven't seen anyone mention my two favorites...Card Connection and the P.H. Invisible Palm. I think most people overlook these, but they get extremely strong reactions.

Just thought I'd mention that Paul Harris' table hopping routine consists of Vanishing Deck, Bizarre Twist, and Solid Deception.

His "I'm not sure if I want to be here" routine.

Steve Martin,
I believe Cros Twist is in Book 1.
Check out my Main Event project (DVD or Download).

I decided to make a solid deception deck. I must admit I was disappointed that it didn't get a stronger reaction. I was pleased to see the Vanishing deck get a MUCH stronger reaction than I had anticipated.
