Hi guys. I was just wondering what tricks you perform most often from the Art of Astonishment Series. There is so much great stuff in here, I would like to hear what you guys recommend. Thanks in advance!

I use the Curly Q move all the time and flip flop plop. Also, I like doing the tricks Buck Naked and Hot Chocolate.

There is a lot to find about this subject on the Magic Café, but mine are Recap and Cros Twist (AOA 1).

Hi,

First, "favorite" should be written in the PLURAL form, as there are a LOT of routines to choose from this trilogy of books!!!!

Here are some of my favorite routines to perform:
-Reset (different handling)
-Las Vegas Leaper (Big Time Leaper)*** one of the few card routines that can be done on stage!!!
-Gambler vs. Mentalist vs. Magician
-Whack your Pack (AKA Reflex)
-Beanie Weanie
-Tap Dancing Aces
-The Shuffling Lesson (by Chad Long)
-Griffo's Whish

And I am currently learning:
-The Real World Invisible Palm

My 2 cents

I love

-Unshuffling Rebbeca (Great for laymen and magicians)
-Machine gun aces(has a great popout cardmove)
-The bizzare vanish (this freaks people out)
And the best trick is GIANT KILLER COIN or at least his idea for loading a 3 inch under a card.

A wonderful effect, as already mentioned, is Chad Long's Shuffling Lesson, an effect with spectator's involvement and a climax!

These days I use bizarro mama the most, (which is a close relative to the bizarre vanish).
I also use Apple (1st phase of my 4 phase apple routine), Counterfeit Spectator, Re-Set (with 4 color changes), Bizarre Twist, and Anything Deck.

I just purchased Vol.1 and I love it. I've only had a few days to read through it but I really love it.

I saw a video of a Paul Harris effect called Cross Twist. Really nice idea. Is that in TAOA?
