I own the Mystic Craig book and his birdcage.

Yes, I own it and knew Bill pretty well. It was way ahead of his time.

Never heard of a book called "Elusive canary", about the vanishing bird cage, I would have jumped on it, if I had.

A copy is available from AbeBooks for $49,95

It is very basic in it's description as I recall. I will have to go back and look at it again.
It was printed in the early 30's as I recall.

Yes - someone sent me the table of contents. It's a short book seemingly mostly about Mystic Craig's adaption and vanishes. It's only 33 pages long.
