Not inane, K. But making guns illegal means that the Military, Law Enforcement and OUTLAWS will have them! And YOU will have NO defense against it. Making guns illegal is like making Marijuana illegal. It does NOT stop it. What brain surgeon thinks of this stuff? "Oh! Make it illegal!" What a freakin' joke. No offense.

Sorry to wade into the gun talk again, but this "debate" is truly absurd. The issue isn't "ban all guns" vs "allow all gun ownership". It's about making intelligent distinctions and meaningful, enforceable laws that improve public safety.
As soon as you play "take them all away and the bad guys will win" you've removed yourself from intelligent discussion on the topic.

This problem has been around a long time and what laws have been passed to prevent gun violence?????? What ones have worked? Looks like NONE have worked and the problem is getting worse. The authorities have failed miserably. It's time to hit the Constitutional Reset Button!

The military it is dictated by an AI Computer. Al is fed on data, obtained from spying on you little people. Al decides what orders to give to deal with what it sees as a problem. It acts like any human war cabinet or high command. Al is being tested in the Jade Helm exercise. The little people going about their everyday lives doing as they are told will be seen by Al as no problem. Cause a problem and then see what happens. Al will send a drone to give you little people a slap if you are not careful, in the land of the blind.

They have failed to enforce the current laws. They pick and choose which ones they want to enforce with every administration. The laws become meaningless. Every single illegal alien should have been legally deported yet we still have 11 million of them here. Most people that have committed a Felony shouldn't have weapons but thousands do.
Jade helm is a test. How much of this will you allow before you make a move to correct the corruption? It's a waste of money if it is supposed to train these men to defend Americans instead of attack them. I don't see riot control in Afghanistan or Iraq. We had some pretty trained men in Benghazi and they had to disobey orders (Stand Down Orders)to even save the people they did. I'm not up to speed on a Constitutional Convention, but just as a computer gets a virus and corruption occurs it must be re-booted. We need to strip it all down and get back to the basics of the constitution.

What are YOU doing about it, other than getting on an internet forum. Can you think of a more useless action? And just how is jade Helm a corruption? Why is it a waste of money to train our army to defend America? What proof do you have that Jade Helm is anything other than what it is purported to be? The Vietnam war or "Police Action" which it was called when I served ( seems that now it is a declared War) was brought to an end when those who spoke up finally woke up the masses and that's when the protests got really big.
