Well, here goes...
I do counted cross stitch. Not cute little bears and bunnies, but large, ornate things that take up to a year and more to finish. Some of my projects have had more than 80,000 stitches in them. I also like building doll houses. Anything that has a lot of details in it, I guess. And if anyone calls me a sissy.... doggone it, I'll have my wife or daughter beat you up! -Jon |

After all, Rosie Greer, former lineman for the LA Rams also does cross stitch. If HE wants to go to Sturgis and brag..... Uh... I also know how to crochet. ![]() |

It's extremely difficult to take, as a gift, something that took NINE MONTHS to create. I cherish it far more than most gifts I've received. Very special indeed. Oh by the way Jon, I've already sent you a custom "I love cross stitching!" T-shirt. Go ahead and wear it even at Sturgis. |

Magic is doing improbable things with odd items that, under normal circumstances, would be unnessecary and quite often undesirable.

Let's see...
Did anyone ever put together and paint the old Aurora Monster Models from the 60's and 70's? Frankenstein, Wolfman, Hunchback, Phantom of the Opera, Dracula, Batman/Robin, Superman, Forgotten Prisoner of Castle Mare, Mummy, Creature from the Black Lagoon, Godzilla, King Kong, etc...? I did them as a kid, and when they were re-issued not too long ago I built them all again. As for the original ones we built as kids...well...often we would take them outside, put firecrackers in them and blow them up (after we got tired of them sitting on our shelves). My current ones now occupy a proud top shelf in the guest room. My wife's cousin always stays in the guest room whenever in town, and always forgets that when he turns off the lights, the glow in the dark pieces on some of the models are looking right at him! My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".
