Alas... magic is my hobby. Everything else in my life I get paid for, so magic is the one thing that hasn't earned me a dime, although I have spent many dimes on it!

I have just started to collect old books on Magic. Right now I have about 8 books and non of them cost me much (yet). I have 3 books by Henry Hay and 1 is a first edition. I am still looking for more by Henry Hay (first editions).
I also collect beer bottles & cans (about 180) and buttons/political pins.

Kayaking (white water and ocean – Kayaked Maryland to Florida several years ago – almost convinced me to give it up! Nothing like a couple of months baking on the water to make you wonder about the meaning of life!).

Coin Collecting (Focus on U.S. Silver Dollars – mainly Morgan’s – going for a top rated collection).

History – Roman, Medieval Europe, and American pre revolutionary-to-revolutionary period of special interest.

Renaissance Fairs – More costumes than business suits and I have to wear a suit for my daytime job!

Writing – What can I say? Doesn’t everyone?

Painting – The worlds worst artist but someone has to be at the bottom.

However central to my life is Magic – it is not so much a hobby as a way of life and an obsession. I have accumulated over 50 years of magic “stuff”. Including a small collection of Chop Cups, Cups and Balls, Okito Boxes, magic “boxes” of all kinds and illusions. Central to my “collection” are several head choppers and the very rare Delbin Guillotine (a beauty that hasn’t been made in years and puts all others to shame!). I also have a library of over 2000 magic books dating from the 1880’s onward. There is not a room in my house (including bathrooms and the Kitchen) that is not cluttered with magic “stuff”. Visitors often remark that they feel as if they feel that they are in a museum!

-Animation: I plan to go to college for computer animation and work at a major animation production studio (before they ALL outsource!) I really like to watch old cartoons like early Disney films (Fun and Fancy Free, Three Caballeros, Make Mine Music) as well as the classic short films (Mickey Mouse, Flip the Frog, anything by Ub Iwerks). I also like to watch recent animated films.

-Reading: Non-fiction mostly. I like biographies and books about Fast Food.

-Graphic Design: A little bit. I love it but I don't have any good training. I have a fair eye for stuff but I've only had a few opportunities to make anything USEFUL besides cheesy band flyers for my dad.

-Graphology: a.k.a. "Handwriting Analysis." I've read multiple books on the subject and it's a really fun hobby. You guys should check it out.

-Collecting: Cards and coins. I like to collect cards from everywhere I go. I've only got a small collection so far. I also like to collect coins but I haven't done it recently. I don't have enought money to invest!
