I am interested in books similiar to the Vernon Touch book. Being the cardman that I am, years ago I would of never enjoyed this book. I am currently reading Harry Loraynes autobiography. Are there any other books similiar to this?

The following books are great
Spellbound: The Wonder-filled Life of Doug Henning by John Harrison Stories of a Street Performer: Memoirs of a Master Magician by Whit "Pop" Haydn Hiding the Elephant: How Magicians Invented the Impossible and Learned to Disappear by Jim Steinmeyer The Last Greatest Magician in the World: Howard Thurston Versus Houdini & the Battles of the American Wizards by Jim Steinmeyer The Magician and the Cardsharp by Karl Johnson (Vernon's search for the center deal) |

Maxrod you will absolutely love the new Steve Spill autobiography I Lie for Money - Candid, Outrageous Stories from a Magician's Misadventures - and it has first hand info about Vernon, Charlie Miller, Francis Carlyle and others not available elsewhere. I can't say enough about the book and you can see and meet the living breathing author -as I've done - at his show at Magicopolis in Santa Monica, CA if you're ever out that way.. http://www.amazon.com/Lie-Money-Outrageo......32204924

The great one periodically mentions Spill AKA Spillman in the Vernon Touch, fascinating to read about the other side of the coin in the I Lie book and that Spillman changed his name to Spill because of Vernon, etc.
