It's bothersome that an american can't own a "Deluxe Covered Silver Scepter"

In my attempt to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, I am going to place an order and see if Practial Magic will send it to me!

An American should be able to make a silver sceptre with his own hands.... The gadget is extremely simple to make.

If you want to make a very best quality Silver Sceptre ...
1) search Amazon for "stair rods for runners" (less than $8)
2) The stair rods come in a variety of finishes/colors, eg Silver (Aluminum; Black; Chrome;
3) Also the outer diameter is perfect.
4) Also the outer wall of the tubing is thicker and will not wear out the elastic,
5) Use FLAT braid 5mm white (or black if using a black stair rod. Do NOT use round cord elastic.
6) Length of elastic should be 1" less than Sceptre's length (when not stretched).
7) Use elastic 60%; Polyester 40% This will be printed on the card. Some haberdashery suppliers Print: "100% stretch' This means 50/50 elastic to Polyester, which is good.
8) Use oversize beads for ends
Hope this helps

Hey John,
You didn't mention how long the rods need to be. I saw some from a carpet company but they are different lengths.

Hi Alan

Length is not too important; although 16" (40mm) is the norm. The important part is the relaxed length of the elastic.
So for a 16" length wand the non-stretched elastic should be 15" for flat braid (5mm) 50/50
Cheers Al
