So does anyone have an experience to order Mystery Smoke directly on www.mysterysmoke.com?
Is it good customer service and fast shipping? I asked this because last time I emailed them, it take a couple days to get the reply. I'm afraid that would be the same happened with my order. |

Here is the issue with my Mystery smoke. I need to change the vaporizer for the first time. I'm using the special key to unscrew it. The vaporizer keeps turning but doesn't unscrew itself from the main unit so I can't change it. Very frustrating considering the price paid for this.

So I've had mystery smoke for a little while now and I'm going to list some of the problems I've had. (Bare in mind so far I've barely successful had it working for a gig)
Remote has broken 4 times (Replaced once and professionally repaired 3 times) Battery charge kept giving out plastic attachment that connects from tube to unit snapped Replaced batteries with 6v version and then something inside the unit broke INSTANTLY Have emailed Frank to get some kind of resolution on this considering its cost me over £200 in total and so far been unuseable... Waiting to see if he replies to me or not. |

The performance is what really makes it all worth while.

Here's a tip for those using this incredible device.
Those of you buying the juice direct from Mystery Smoke are waisting your hard earned to be fair. I use Mystery Smoke on a daily basis and I use cheap £4 bottles of e-cig juice and it works flawlessly, if not better than Mystery Smoke's! There's no way you'll damage your Mystery Smoke device rest assured. I use about 4 tanks a day, every day and have been using cheap e-cig juice for a long time and my devices are still as strong. Hope this helps 😊 Happy smoke blasting!! Best, Neil. PS. Their 6V batteries add tons more power, compared with the bigger, standard batteries. And also, on Amazon UK there is some batteries almost as good but will definitely work in your device: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B011R6L4D2?psc=1 These batteries are quite strong and are better than the larger, standard batteries. |

I'm having the same problem as kalebzebadi and others. My unit stopped producing smoke. I contacted info@scacciapensieri.eu every couple weeks for the past four months and no response ever. I finally ordered a new vaporizer two weeks ago and no response yet from that either. I've emailed asking for an estimate of when they will ship my order, but no response to that either.
Side note on how to fix the vaporizer yourself: I finally got brave and used a pair of needle nose pliers to screw out the vaporizer. I figured worst case I broke something that wasn't working anyway. I cleaned the vaporizer outside with a napkin and cleaned out down at the bottom of the unit with a napkin as well. When I reassembled, it started producing smoke again. So the problem in my case was the juice got below the vaporizer and messed with the contacts down below. Fortunately cleaning it out fixed things. Now I will be able to use it in my next show again! Still hoping to get another vaporizer someday for a future replacement. I know this is an old thread. I am looking to hold a single match in my closed hand and produce smoke (without holding out anything else). Is Mystery Smoke the best option for this? I don’t want to wear a special watch. I appreciate any answer here or by PM. It also seems this thread ended on a sour note. Should I be concerned?

ATTENTION! Recently I used one of the replacement vaporizers, that I bought of their official shop. Unfortunately it worked only for 3 seconds, and then my whole unit became incredible loud and no smoke came out.
So not only did the replacement part not work, but it destroyed my main unit. That is a really unpleasant experience. I tried contacting them several times over their website and per email in the last weeks, but have not received a reply yet. If one of you mystery guys reads this, please get in touch with me to solve this issue. |

Now the units are all sold it seems like customer service has gone out of the window. It’s a shame for the buyers.

Mystery Smoke will work perfectly for this application with the match in closed fist, as Mystery Smoke has a tubing system that runs down your arm and attaches to a special gimmick on your wrist to allow the smoke to exit. For those of you that have emailed them and not had a response, I suppose the other option would be to contact Penguin, they stock their products. And they'll more than likely have their latest email address. I'm strongly thinking Mystery Smoke has got an issue with their email system, so contacting Penguin, they might have an alternative email address? I'm based in the UK and I know of a company over here that sell the vaporisers, very cheap, around £4-£5. Please pm me if you'd like the contact details. Please let me know how you get on with the email Hope this helps. Best, Neil. Ps. You shouldn't be concerned buying or using this device, absolutely not. Anything electrical can go wrong. With these devices, a lot of guys use these, look how many units Penguin is buying in and selling! Out them all, there's not that many that have failed, that for me is very good going considering just how many units Mystery Smoke have built! As previously mentioned, I've used 2 of these devices constantly for well over 2 years and never had an issue, tell a lie, I've had to replace the vaporisers quite a few times, that's completely normal, wear and tear. They don't last forever, because of the cotton in the vaporiser burns out and will not be able to restore the cotton because of the way they're machined. |

Anybody knows, if there is any comparable smoke device that allows smoke effect without sleeves?
Since Mystery Smoke is out of the market there seems to be a niche that noone can fill again. |

That's a good suggestion. Unfortunately I can t hold anything in my hands for what I am trying to achieve.
I believe the mystery smoke method for sleeveless use is the best on the market, since it allows you to use your hands freely without having to ditch anything. Unfortunately the unit needs to have a quite strong fan to give the smoke enough "push". I tried to replace it with "smoke one" but the fan inside that unit is too weak, so I can t use the sleeveless method. I really can t understand, why they stopped producing. Anybody have another idea for a good sleeveless smoke device? |

Since they don t produce any replacement parts anymore and there are no vaporizers available, could somene please share a source for an alternative vaporizer?
I am on my last one and hope to get some replacement (for the heating thingy) for when it breaks. |

And I can also confirm that ANY e cig juice will work perfectly fine and will NOT damage your device. I've been using cheap e cig juice for a couple of years on a regular basis.
Best, Neil. |
