Hello everyone,
The magician Pip Kennedy and I are creating a comedy double act. We're at the very early stages but we thought you'd all be interested to know that we're documenting and sharing the creation process with a video and audio blog. Ever thought about how something gets from initial idea to stage? Do you wonder how magic tricks are designed and created? We hope to show this process (well, what we can!), warts and all as we get our professional stage act up and running. If interested, you can follow us on: . Web: http://www.pipandpaul.com . YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/pipandpaulshow . Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/pipandpaulshow . Twitter: http://twitter.com/pipandpaulshow . Google +: http://plus.google.com/+Pipandpaulshow The Podcast info to be added later. We're hoping this will be of use to someone, or maybe you want to join in the conversation? We're happy to discuss our approach to everything and anything, so please let us know if you have any requests of things to cover. Cheers, Paul (the Paul from Pip and Paul!) |

Paul,
This sounds like a great idea. I did a similar project with a collaborator where we wrote and filmed about the process of creating a new (one-man) show. Analyzing and understanding the process really improved how we worked/created together. (Collaborator's name is Frank Fogg. I think he posts here occasionally so maybe he'll weigh in, too.) Really interested to see how the two man show progresses and where it ends up! Best, MT |

Hi Mark,
Thanks for taking the time to write. Where is your project documented? I'd love to see it. We're very early stages but I think it's important to do this. It's going to be an interesting year! We recorded a new episode today. We'll try to get it published asap. Do let me know where we can see your filmed log. Cheers, Paul |
