P.S. When there is an L on the top layer to form the cross, there is no need to do the Alg twice, it starts around the 52 second: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a0K8vm3tj0w |

Hi mk,
I think I know what you are going to ask. what happens, when everything is yellow, and you still need 1-2 more middle edge layers? Am I right? Let me know Alex

Well, I had to figure it out my own, since I don't think its covered, but when you have that, you have to kick the yellow out from the top, by doing the moves you learned on Step 3, that's the only moves you are going to do, it can get repetitive, but eventually after 2 or so moves, you will see it line up, then the white will be facing you and you can fix that error, and then continue to step 4.
that's how I did it, and I ran into it twice already.

Im struggling at the point where The bottom and middle layer are solved and I end up with none of the 3 scenarios of the line, L, or dot. Or I end up with a kind of T shape where it is a L and a line at the same time if that makes sense? Does anybody know what Im doing wrong or how to get out of this situation to get one of the 3 I need to complete the appropriate algorithm? Thanks

Hi Mike I have a jpeg but I'm struggling to attach it. Essentially I'm ending up with the centre piece yellow and 3 other edge pieces yellow making a small 'T' if you like.

It would be nice to see a photo, I hope you find a way to post it. |
